Eleven writing-to-learn, easy-to-grade activities students can complete on 5x8 notecards. These should take no more than five minutes of class time, or they can be assigned as brief homework assignments. We have also included a list of useful sources and websites.Self-editing exercise - students can use the self-editing sheet when reviewing their own work or fellow classmates' papers. The activity is most effective when used prior to the assignment deadline.
